Behringer VM1 Vintage Time Machine Part 2 Vibrato/Delay Mode only
1/29/09 – Forgot to feature the Vibrato mode in part 1, hence the reason for part2. This time in this video, the VM1 is set up in stereo, dry signal to Roland JC-55, effected singal to Line 6 Micro Spider. Sounds much better when set up in stereo. again i dont work for a guitar mag, so theres no narration. and not playing anything in particular, just highlighting the effects of VM1. Im using an ESP Eclipse II, with the above mentioned amps.

I have stacks and stacks of cassette recordings of AM Stereo from 1995 to today, but this one stands out as one of my all-time favorites. New York City’s 1600 WWRL is absolutely one of the best-sounding AM Stereo radio stations I have ever heard. Here is an example of their fantastic sound from July 10th, 2000, as received on my Sony SRF-A100 “micro boombox” radio and recorded onto high-bias Chrome tape with Dolby B NR. Rennie Bishop’s “Mix At Six” program contained some of the station’s most interesting music. I know the first song in this clip is in mono, but I had to include it because it’s such a fun song. Today, WWRL broadcasts a Progressive Talk format, and unfortunately no longer transmits in AM Stereo, instead using Kahn Power-Side to boost the range of their signal. Rennie Bishop is now WWRL’s Program Director and airs his own talk show on the station.
